How does free high speed wireless Internet access sound to you? Several communities are now working towards this goal, so I thought we in the Philadelphia area should also pursue it. The concept is to share unused excess bandwidth with others, via 802.11b protocol. Using wireless access points and bridges, with external antennas, amazing things can be accomplished. I don't want to reinvent the wheel here so rather than explain further I am listing some great links to other wireless communities and you will see what I am talking about. 8/25/03 - DelcoWireless - Certified Wireless Network Professional Sponsored Wireless Users Group Increased Coverage Area for DelcoAir1!5/23/03 - I've upgraded Delcoair1 to a SmartBridges Outdoor AirPoint Pro and added a 5dbi Omni-Directional antenna on a 13 foot tower.
