Welcome to AirPower BBS on the web!  It has been a long time coming, but it's been very important to me to be able to offer you a web related interface that approaches the functionality and features of AirPower's conventional BBS.  There are many out there who say they offer a web BBS.  I suppose if you've never experienced a "real" BBS such as the ones who have been available to the dial-up online world for over 20 years now, then you won't know the difference or what you have been missing.   A real BBS will offer you quality messaging, without SPAM, or off-topic posts, shared with other sites, yet without the pollution that pervades USENET. We've always had that on our conventional BBS, and now we can offer this to you via the web!

Our Mission

AirPower provides you a quality messaging medium, utilizing yet INDEPENDENT of the Internet.  Over a thousand special interest discussion groups networked to and from thousands of other BBSs world-wide.  Thousands of files also available.

Company Profile

AirPower BBS began serving the online world in 1989.  Utilizing PcBoard BBS software, it is a multiline bulletin board system allowing users from around the world to meet online, and exchange files and messages.

In addition to being connected to the Internet and the world wide dial up network, AirPower is a member of these world wide computer networks:  FidoNet, Intelec, PatriotNet, Paul Revere Net, RIME, aka RelayNet, and SurvNet.

AirPower's 1500 newsgroups offer something for everyone, but make no mistake, you are accessing a very Libertarian, pro-freedom, pro-gun neighborhood.

AirPower Information Services BBS is a well known pioneer in the online world, and has been favorably reviewed in Computer Shopper magazine, the Pennsylvania Sportsman's News, and the Pennsylvania Gun Law Guide.
